PC gamers dont want to have such a masterpiece of game like Dark Souls with that broken DRM called GFWL... Lets sign this petition so devs know!
This is the link to the petition page, note that the game is actually coming to PC thanks to this very same method (90k people signed for the Dark Souls PC game petition and they hear us!)
This is the link: https://www.change.org/petitions/namco-bandai-and-from-software-release-dark-souls-pc-edition-without-games-for-windows-live
Thanks a lot for your time reading this and your support!!!
Lets make this happen.

That is not a valid link. I think that this is the old petition... which I think is dead. And it would be pointless for a petition like this now. The decision has been made, there is not going back, we are in the 11th hour, we have reached Defcon 5.

Link corrected, thanks a lot! And well at least we tried... it sounded so perfect.. Dark Souls on PC with steamworks.

Something interesting to note: Despite the "box art" showing GFWL neither Steam or Gamestop Digital are listing it as part of the game. It might not mean anything but it is interesting.

Dark Souls on PC with no DRM at all would be perfect.

NamcoBandai have been aware of the negative reaction towards GFWL for a while already.
Not sure if they've made their decision final for it. They still might be thinking if they're gonna go with it or not.
But seeing how the PC version is gonna get released in around two months time and we haven't heard an update about if they're gonna use it or not I'm guessing their decision was final with using GFWL.
Doesn't hurt to try and vote though. Steamworks would be a MUCH better option to use than GFWL.

^ the power of majority. 90% of people on steam are allergic to GFWL because steam can do all of GFWL's options just as well - most of it even better.
But since the game's entry in the shop (http://store.steampowered.com/app/211420/) still does not read "3rd Party DRM: Requires GFWL", I hope for the best.

On the other hand, GFWL allows PC and 360 cross-platform play.
I don't really care as long as I get 60 FPS.

No it doesn't. I don't think Microsoft has allowed cross plat play for years since it caused problems with that one early GFWL game.

That's a huge exaggeration. I don't like GFWL due to MS stealing my MSP and telling they would refund me and never doing it, but that's a separate issue.
Regardless, GFWL never has downtime like Steam has that boots you out of games mid-session with no warning. It's pretty far from 90% of Steam users having an issue with it. They are more like a vocal minority if we look at game sales. AoE Online was able to sell it's GFWL DLC for almost a month straight in the top ten games sold. I think that game is crap, but I can't ignore when a GFWL game sells despite all the message board hate.

BlazBlue for PC had crossplatform play (which was unnecessary since consoles already got the new version which never saw the "official" light on PC). Microsoft didn't "ban" that feature but I don't expect it to be in since, well, FROM is porting the game.

No it doesn't. I don't think Microsoft has allowed cross plat play for years since it caused problems with that one early GFWL game. GFWL allows cross platform play vs 360 & 5 GFWL games use it. The main reason few games do so is because the 360 version must launch with the code already include for cross platform play vs PC so it must be designed from the start to be a cross platform game they cannot just patch it in later as 360 patching does not allow for this. Few games benefit from cross platform game anyway & the extra dev costs are massive this is why no-on uses it anymore.
