Can't join private mayhem game

We make the game, with a simple password, and after pressing join and writing the password, happens nothing. Pressing "Go" doesn't make you join the game.

Apparently it allows to join if the password is only numbers or I had a lucky hit.

And.. for some strange reason, in Defense, Classic, I always have 35 cubes no matter how many enemys I kill or cubemens I make.. I am not sure this is the way the game works.

So the host is setting a password and the other player is joining and can see a lock next to the game?

When you enter the password, if it is not correct it will not allow you to join. Are you sure the password is correct? It is case sensitive.

To be case sensitive when you write it, it only shows on caps. And yes, the lock was shown at the side of the game.

Sorry, when creating a password, yes it's Uppercase only, but when entering one on JOIN screen, it's not (fixed in next update).

So please make sure you are entering the password in Uppercase.

I just tested it here and it all works fine.

No. Still cant join. And we've tried five times the same uncapped password.

And now seem to be another weird bug. Weird but weird weird, I join her using a only numbers password and see another "Player" that really isn't here. When the game starts it starts for her but for me it keeps on waiting because he won't ever be ready. We took screen-shots from each part if you want 'em that shows that for me there's a "Ghost player".

It could just be network server load. If you both join but there is an issue when one of you starts, the person that didn't start will be played as AI on the other persons machine.

I am also monitoring a lot of people starting and stopping games right now, so I think the network server is having a hard time.

BTW, there are 17 private games running right now, so passwords are working.

I'm not saying they don't work. But they didn't for us unless they were numbers*

And that's not what I meant. It was a 2 players private game BUT there was a "Ghost" 3rd player.

Sorry, no idea what happened there. Network connectivity is a wonderful thing... so many things can go wrong or cause issues. Most of my developer friends thing I am crazy for making networked games.

If someone else comes with the same problem this is the fix: Exit to the main menu, and join again, if it doesn't work, every player must do it too.

It's really hard to track different issues when you keep them in the same thread.

WHat level are you playing? I just tried a few here and it works as it should with cubes being earned for each enemy kill.

Only Limited Cubes mode prevents cubes from being earned, but you start with 400 cubes.
