Just wanted to say THANK YOU for implementing TrackIR support! It's awesome! The game was already awesome but now it's even more awesome! ;) I feel a lot more FREE now in the game and not anymore locked in a box! ;)
BTW I also like the new R-key function: great for when you have the destination markers disabled (like I have). I can now find the right runway and the exact parking spot without those markers! Toe brakes also work. Great stuff. Awesome update!
Thank you!!! :D

Can anyone tell me where I can buy a TrakIR system? I'd love to use this new addon, but I don't have it.

Track IR has been out for years, can buy from most any online software dealer that sells addons for the various flight sims. Shop around and compare prices. I don't use myself but if you are price minded, do a search on free track or track free or something. When track IR came out it was very expensive(not sure what price is now) and some broke flight simmers got together and wrote thier own track IR program that can be downloaded for free and instructions on how to make your own hardware from radio shack componants.

TrackIR isn't cheap (on the contrary...) but worth it. I know various people who tried that free version but ended up buying TrackIR anyway... It's the best. If you are a bit tight on money, try to get a hold on the version 4 hardware: it will work with the version 5 software which you can download for free from the official site. TrackIR 4 is cheaper but the differences with TrackIR 5 are small and hardly noticable.

I am a big fan of TrackIR. If my unit would break today, I'd order a new one without thinking about it. (Although I might look for that version 4 to save some money... ;) )

If you buy the system directly from NaturalPoint, they will give you a full refund (for 30 days) if you don't like it.

Also, consider Freetrack an option only if you're a DYI type. It's fun to build and configure, but it takes time and skill. If you just want a product you'll plug-in and use, and are willing to pay the price - buy Track-IR.

I have a Logitech webcam and Vista Home Premium 32 bit. If I D/L this proggy what .ini should I use(there seems to be a range of them).
I don't suppose it works as well as TrackIR?
cheers,

Automatic Tube Compensation and Artificial Insemination? I highly doubt you will see those in Flight any time soon.

Sorry for late reply, only just getting back into flight now Alaska is released. I'm not sure what setting works best, but you will need to fiddle with any one you try to use.
I'm also not sure how to use track ir in flight yet. Cat see it in the options.

If the TIR software is running prior to starting Flight, it will work automatically.
