I don't like the new menu!

I don't like the Alaska menu with the new background and music. I want the Hawaii menu back! Is it possible to change it?

Hold down CTR and K for a few seconds !!!
It won't bring back the old sounds or background but will take your mind off of it for a few seconds. lol

The new music reminds me of any other video game music. The old music gave me an FSX vibe, and reminded me more of flying.

Nothing major, so... why do you want an option to change it back then? ;) I rather have MS spend their time on major things. You can turn of the music (I always do) and you shouldn't be spending time in the menu too long: you should be flying. ;)

yes it gave me the same vibe too - though the fsx music, after hearing it for years was getting old and stale. MS wanted a new direction with flight so i'm glad the music changed also.

DO NOT HOLD DOWN CTRL+K it will open other instances of your window and cause your game/pc to crash. Fred should work for MS

I tried it earlier and it didn't do anything on my computer, thankfully.

I don't really like the new music, but the new background is great. The old one kind of bored me. The music makes me think of Florida for some reason :rolleyes:. Maybe next time some music that fits the region? Hawaii had music that was completely unreleated to it. This one is a little closer. Well, it's just music.

I think the first music was intended to be the permanent main menu music, but Microsoft then decided to change it along with the background.

I love the new music, it seems Alaskan to me.;) The background and menu is a nice change too. Glad they added the marketplace and region settings, helped me a lot.

I wasn't crazy about the new music so I turned it off. Funny thing, if you do that then in the menus where you'd normally hear the music, instead I hear the sound of waves on the shore.

It would be nice for the menu and background to be context sensitive once in game.
The load screen/menu could be random (its only pics and music no big deal there)
Then if flying Hawaii, use that theme, and Alaska theme for that content.
As new content arrives have new themes to cover that. Its not like this would need a major rewrite just some extra media and a bit of logic.

FSX had a choice of 8 tracks. Since the old music is still in the Flight files, it's not hard to do let us choose it.
