Feel broken at the moment, P2P so if your lucky enough to find a match it runs bad. But I only ran into maybe 5 people online max

how do you communicate in MP via text and voice? I looked under the settings for "controls" and found no such entries!

I barely ever get a match with people. It's frustrating because the game is good. Also when I host (not that anyone ever joins) I hear this buzzing but the mic is off in every way possible (game, sb and everywhere else).

How could this possibly be overlooked in this day and age. No text chat? Quake 1 came out in 1996, yes, 16 years ago and it offered online chat. I don't care too much about mic communication, but no text chat??? Really? Multi-player will be dead in days, mark my words. Pitty, the gameplay was alright from what I saw so far.

Unless of course there is a chat key somewhere. But if it's there, it's well hidden which would be a fail in and of itself.

Also, ran into a guy on my first game who appeared to snipe me cross map with a shotgun. Couldn't verify, but I couldn't exactly ask him. No chat even in the lobby, bleh...

Going to start a new thread in hopes someone has a solution.

after experiencing the sniper shotguns and people who see through walls and floors in specator mode but don't see anything, and the full sprint rapid fire shooting headshots, I looked on google for cheats and sadly there's some stuff. Another fps gone bad. I don't know anyone so I don't have a private server to play on.

multiplayer is definitely assed out! not only is it P2P, but it's unreliable P2P. I swear sometimes I think I'm getting put in games hosted by Russians (I'm in North America).

Half the time I "lose connection to host." Inexplicably.

No way of knowing who is talking on their mic, and apparently there is no text chat.

WTF, even MW3's crappy, no-dedicated-server MP is better than this bull♥♥♥♥!
