View Full Version : Funny how this is the closest we'll get the Fez on Steam

Still waiting....

Dev said he would only release it on Xbox because it's a game meant to be played in the living room. Funny thing that, cause my PC is hooked up to the living room TV.

i find it funny because its basically a two man team, uber indie, and it screams pc, and it gets releashed on a dumbed down console, good times!

I hear that some puzzles require the rumble feature of a controller but he could just lock it out to customers with a gamepad I suppose.

it's pretty lame that the movie about fez is on steam and fez isn't.

makes sense..

at least we get SMB and Braid.

What I found funny is that on the desktop of Phil's Fish computer, there was a steam window in the background which looked like he was definitely making this game for the PC.

Funny Phil is thinking he will make millions and then limits the game to one console. He should ask Team Meat which percentage of SMB-sales were made on Steam. But I guess he has a contract with Micro$oft.

OP, you said ♥♥♥♥. I invite everyone here to view the conference of Phil Fish (or Philippe Poisson) during Gamelab 2012. You can found the video here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LG1fOOUSOw) for instance.

TL;DW? He said they thought put FEZ on different supports, with the Xbox exclusivity which will soon expire.

Both Braid and Super Meat Boy took some time getting to PC. Microsoft like to put timed exclusivity onto the products they can (their train of thought, presumably, is that given the choice, people won't get it on Xbox, so might as well remove the choice entirely...?) I haven't read anywhere of even got the slightest impression that FEZ isn't coming to Steam. You're over-reacting.

Awww... months?
Well, if I survived almost two years for Alan Wake, I'll patiently await for this.

Your PC elitism is annoying.
