I got accepted, but i got no key?

I was looking through the update news, and apparently, i had been accepted. i was so pumped! one problem, i didn't get a key, or anything. This is really frustrating. Was there supposed to be a key in the update news? because i didn't read it all. if so, how do i get back to my PERSONAL update news???? :o

Erm, I'm assuming you already tried checking your Steam library. Did you try checking the tools section? (In the top, where it says All Games, or Installed, or something, select Tools.) I think that's where it would show up.

Yes, multiple times i have checked. I also used the search bar provided, but no luck. (and, yes i checked the tools tab)

try to reload steam client.
When I has view a message about getting invite, I just clicked "click for details" and game has been added to all games section in my steam client

Try restarting Steam? If it's not there yet, send an email to the team behind it. You'll find it at the SFM's web site.

I got it directly in my library. I have no idea when I got it because it didn't prompt me with the message or a notification, but there it was just sitting in my library.

Just randomly decided to check my account page and I saw it pop up there but had no email or other notification about it. Was quite surprised because I wouldnt have noticed it if I didn't check my account page. Guessing I should get a Notification at some point, think same thing happened with CS:GO and I had one pop up a few days later :P

edit: Just played a game and when I came out of it the notification popped up.
