View Full Version : Slowing Down Recorded Movement

So I wanted to make a little shot with the Demoman just casually walking. For that purpose, I recorded myself running over the logs at the waterfall of Sawmill. Now I adjusted the walking path and also applied the reference pose for easier posing later.

But he still walks too fast. And no matter what I try I can't seem to slow down the motion of the root_transform. What's a good way of doing that?

I think that would be to noticeable with the waterfall in the background. Thanks anyway.

What I did now was deleting the take, then import a running sequence set to what I'd think is walking speed. Now the only thing left to do is adjusting the legs to make it look like he's properly taking a casual walk.

you could just create 2 "bookmarks" at the beginning and end of the scouts animation in the graph editor and then drag the 2 bookmarks closer together

(you have to select all bones in the scout and his weapon for this to work)

cut the part that you want to slow down with "b" and the use control + shift and drag the scene to make it longer and slower
