F2P users cannot adjust their XP distribution like paying players can. Basically, when you are awarded XP it gets divided between your player level and your traits or skills, so if you are a F2P player that gets 3000 XP 1500 goes to your level and 1500 goes to your skills. But, a paying player can adjust that to 3000 xp to his actual level. How does this affect gameplay and leveling? Well, a F2p'er will have a very hard time leveling past 20 because all the available quests will be way too high level for you to do and the only relistic way to level up will be to grind mobs, so you can raise your level to do a grinding mob quest. Anyways, I did enjoy the game, but it's def. not a real f2p game at all still check it out and maybe you might think it's worth a subscription... I don't.

Seems like an odd thing to say. Half of your XP goes to the AA tree which helps make your character stronger. Honestly, most paying members tend to move the slider to ALL XP going to AA because having a couple hundred AA at lower levels makes you overpowered.

As for being under level for quests, I can't see how. This game ran for years with paid expansions that are now open and there's so much content because of this that every level range has several options to go questing in. The real grind doesn't usually come in until the last 10 levels or so. You should be leveling pretty fast (even faster if you group with other people) until you hit near the level cap.
