I've watched the tutorial video on how to putterer but is there an easier way to pupiteer without having to play and move a bone at the same time? Like frame by frame, will graphing work?

You can graph edit key frames instead. Position the model in the graph editor, hit M, move forward in time, hit M and reposition the model and SFM will animate the time inbetween.

works great, one more question, is there a way I can keep the keys I made during the pupiteering? Everytime I animate and click "M" I only have 2 keys, the one from the beginning of the animation and the end? I need to see all of the keys I made during the animations for editing.
