It doesn't happen in every game, but frequently MLB2K11 gives me no time after the batter hits the ball and I take control of a fielder. If I give no input, my fielder dead stops and there's the usual loss of momentum causing fieldable outs to become hits. Or worse, because I have to completely guess where my fielder is in relation to the ball's path I end up taking him away from the play.
Older baseball games from days gone by always kept control of the fielder until it received input from the player, and then that input would take over much more naturally.
When it works "correctly" I usually have slightly more time to judge the player's positioning. But about one game out of five, I get this no-time-to-judge glitch. At least I'm hoping it's a glitch.
Does MLB 2K12 have the same problem?
