It appears that all of the existing lesson plans are targeted to 9th grade students and above. Is anyone else considering creating lesson plans that are geared towards younger students?

My students are in the 3rd and 6th grades.

I just posted two math lessons: one for 4th and 5th and one for 6th. I don't know if they fit in with your curriculum, but they are there!

This is an interesting concept and suggestion for the younger crowd. I'm going to be looking and working with another teacher on developing some lessons for the spectrum of 5-12 hopefully too.

That is very interesting! Tell me, what exactly do you plan to teach the younglings? Even one thing to say would be satisfactory.

I am a 3rd grade teacher and I plan to use it during math lessons, especially for our geometry unit.

I'm a 6th grade teacher and I plan on trying to find ways of using it with our science and possibly math classes. I am running an after school club right now with kids working on ways to integrate Portal, Minecraft, and LittleBigPlanet into the curriculum.

I've had great success using portal 2 to teach basic level design and game design to 6-7th graders. It's all about how you structure the activites. Also, if you come up with a lesson idea that works for your age group, submit it to valve. I'm sure they'd be glad to have it :)

So glad to see this thread, I'm doing it with junior high now and it's nice to see there are some others in the same boat as me. I just got access so I'm still trying to figure out exactly what my goals are and what I can do with this.
