Release Date and Time

Release date is set for November 13, 2012. But at what time will we be able to download it?

I did Pre-Purchase from Steam. Do you really think it will be released early on Steam? On Steams pre-purchase page it says...

This time has to be wrong because in 4 months it’s November 22.

Unfortunately the count-down timers do not answer my question. The timer here http://black-ops-2.blogspot.ca/p/countdown-timer.html for example counts down to the second but does not specify the time zone.

If dylanstrategie is right and it is GMT+0:00 then it should be available to me November 12, 8:00 PM Eastern standard time (GMT-4:00).

Can anyone confirm that?

Steam will allow you to "preload" the game befor release but you have to wait till it unlocks to play it. Usually its like 10am PST the day of release.

not allways...i have seen games that were not allowed to be downloaded till the actual official release time...codbo2 may or may not be allowed to pre load we will have to wait and see...

00:00 GMT is 6:00 PM CST 0r 7:00 PM CDT...CST is -6 hours GMT.... military time is differant 00:00 is midnight...if you have a shortwave radio you can listen to time / signal station WWV Ft.collins,CO on 2.5 , 5 , 10 ,15 and 20 MHZ or WWVH same frequencies in Honolulu...

It doesn't seem like the people here really knows how Steam works.
It says the game will UNLOCK at said time. This however, doesn't tell you when you can download it. You'll be able to pre-load the game earlier, then you'll be able to launch the game at the date it shows on the steam page. Hope that answers the question.

The issue is: What time will that be in Easter Standard Time? Will it unlock November 13 at 12:00 AM EST or 3:00 AM EST?

I have noticed that Steam's Sales and free to play weekends run longer then Sunday at 11:59 PM EST. Which makes me think they are using Pacific Standard time. Which could mean Black Ops II will be available for me November 13 at 3:00 AM EST (12:00 AM PST).
