How is the multiplayer today ?

I really loved this game, everything from sound to graphics are really cool.

Thinking of buying it off Steam now but is the multiplayer dead or is it alive and breathing ?

Multiplayer is not working at all at the moment. The reason is most likely that Ubisofts (DRM) servers cannot handle the sudden increase in players due to the steam sale. Been like that since yesterday..

I can't even log into the multiplayer. Just says "Ubisoft's servers are not available at the moment, try again later".

Yes its good. But only in peak time.

What do you guys suppose the chances are of them ironing out these issues before everybody gives up and the game is dead again? I've been wanting a racing game for a while, missed Burnout yesterday but discovered that the game is dead anyway.

Burnout isn't dead at all, you can get matches at anytime of the day, any day.

yes burning out great fun game, but you can't drive around sf :(

if you dont own it they have it dirt cheap the other day

also too bad they dont have one for la / nyc as well

or all major cities
