How frequent are updates for this game?

Just bought the game during the summer sale and I'm experiencing very high CPU load and some random BSODs.

No release notes, no patch/update history..
No fix for the plethora of problems with this game, either.

So basically what we got was a 4.6MB middlefinger.

Full of hope, I gave the game another try after downloading the update.
First launch: Stutters/Slomos heavily every few seconds, unplayable. After quitting, game executable didn't exit and kept on hogging three of my four CPU cores.
Second launch: Game hung on developer screen.
Third launch: Game hung on developer screen.

Couldn't be bothered to even start it a fourth time.

NO response whatsoever from Kalypso support. No rush, it has only been around A MONTH since I opened my ticket.
Looking at the forum posts around here, it seems I'm not alone with this problem either.

Bottom line? Avoid Kalypso! I don't care if every other game they make/publish is totally awesome, this is unacceptable in every way.

Yup, this update didn't change anything with me either.

5 seconds into a race and BANG BANG, freezes every 5-6 seconds..

Until there is a fix for this I won't be playing this game anymore.

they have posted about the update here:

Also, for contacting them, try the developers direct, rather than Kalypso.

Try talking to the developers of this game like Shivars said.
Digital Reality. I've got nothing but great customer support by emailing them.

The problem I get is the game doesn't work with Radeon 7000 series cards.
My old 6000 series card worked fine. CPU usage was normal. Game played great.

Upgraded my card, but now the game just locks up and I have to force-close it.
It also brings my CPU usage up way high.

Digital Reality informs me they're trying to work with AMD to get this all sorted out and we've went back and forth through a number of emails. They've been rather helpful.

edit:
like mentioned in the link Shivars posted.
