specific config for each map

how do i set cvars for specific maps?

i thought it was done by creating a *.cfg file with the same name as the map and placing it in the \maps folder, but that doesn't seem to work because when i launch my server it says "couldn't exec map_name.cfg"

I use mani and its quite easy.

Its supposed to be in the cstrike/cfg folder but I have found that since last update my map cfg's arent working anymore.

nevermind, found the prob.

folder for map *.cfg files should be cstrike\maps\cfg and not cstrike\cfg

I have been puzzling over why it suddenly couldn't exec the custom configs anymore for hours. Thanks for the solution.
