View Full Version : Charging me -$0.03 for EP1 trailers :/

I just downloaded all three trailers in Steam Media Section and now its saying that it charged me $-0.03 for each trailer. I got them and they played fine (love 'em :D) but i just wanted to know what the $-0.03 charge was.

It just means they owe you 3 cents per video.

actually the "-" (minus) suggests they owe YOU 3 cents per video

my guess is, it's a bug ... something messed up and now this is happening. First time I hear about any kind of charging whatsoever for media in steam...

This was a momentary "bug" that would only occur between when I updated one function, and then updated the Media page code. The function calculates the price for apps and media. Media doesn't return a price, of course, but does return a specific value depending on its status in relation to your account. -3 is the code that is returned when it is in your account, and that was being interpretted as $-0.03 for a short time. Sorry for the confusion. And sorry that you won't be getting those 3 cent cheques. :)

Well needless to say if they owed my 3 cents per video, well that would not have been a huge loss per person.
