King Arthur + DLC now appears to be on sale (around 33% off I think).
Thanks, posted under current sales. Timing is right for a weekend deal but no news post and discount is pretty weak.

All those price reductions will be posted eventually. :)

SF2 Gold is Shadow Wars and its add-on Dragon Storm, yes. SF Platinum includes both of the first part’s add-ons [and the first base game of course ;)].
There was a second [stand-alone] add-on for SF2 announced some time ago, but it’s not released yet.

If you don’t like RTS games, you shouldn’t get SpellForce since it combines RTS and RPG gameplay.
Speaking only of the RPG part, I wouldn’t say any of both games, SF and TQ, is better or worse.

Napoleon: Total War™ Now Available Worldwide* on Steam

* Valve's incorrect definition of worldwide which pretty much shows they don't class parts of S.E. Asia as being on the same planet.

And this is why I am seriously getting ****ed off with Valve and the way they advertise games as being released worldwide when they know full well that they aren't. I'm even more ****ed off with their response to such complaints, which simply boils down to "We couldn't ****ing care less if we're ****ing off customers".

Maybe when they refer to a game being available worlwide, they (being the devloper most likely) mean via one of the other outlets, for example, (and I admit I do not know Japanese, so I have no clue what's written there), but this game seems to be available in Japan, at least I think so, according to this (http://www.newtrino.jp/eshopdo/refer/vid13819.html),

Just a thought.

And will continue to do so every time Valve falsely claim that a game is available worldwide when I (and they) know it to be restricted in certain regions.

And FYI, that's on topic for this thread as can be seen here: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?p=6129251#post6129251

but this game seems to be available in Japan

1 - The reference to worldwide is specifically in reference to availability on Steam
2 - The link you posted is discussing the US release of the game (and showing the price for importing the US copy of the game)

Dam, it looks like a great deal and I'm tempted to get it. I'm still gonna wait for an overall pricedrop for Batman:AA since it should be soon with the sequel coming this year.

If it drops to $20, then goes on sale I'm sure it'll be around $10 or $5. Plus I feel Steam just has a better interface for downloadable games.

Batman AA is worth the full $50, let alone $30 or $20... waiting for $10 or $5 is absurd for one of the best games of the year, frankly, unless you are dead broke.

They're just blinded by the dollar signs in their eyes. Unlike retail stores which buy in bulk and pretty much need to sell do they wish to get a return Valve probably makes deals along the lines of XX amount of cash goes to you for every sold copy. So there's nothing to lose on Valve's side in case something doesn't get sold.

And all other costs to them, are same regardless of what game is being sold; bandwidth, service and support. And also that is only needed mainly, if a game gets sold.

So if they can get 50 Eur for it because some idiot is willing to lay down 10 - 20 Eur more than in retail; why would they change their ways?

I allready own Altitude from the Indie pack.
But I played the demo of Bob some time ago wich was on a sale as well I guess.
I liked the game but not for that price, now it's only 2€ I though I'd picked it up.
Then I started looking for some of the other ones in the pack and I tried out the demo of Galcon Fusion... AWSOME!!
Nice quick rounds and pretty intens and funny as well :)
So the next thing I though about was that I've played Super Laser Racer demo yesterday.
It was fun...though not that fun to get it.
Though it's in the pack of wich I want to get 2 at least.
So that brings me on a 4€ deal.
Not that much.
Though there are 4 more games I don't know about for sure to get them...
But I'll just grab the pack.
It's a no-brainer and I love indie games so why not try :)

To conclude this post: Buy this pack if you like at least 2-3 games of it :)
It's all a bit of the same genre, or at least the styles of gameplay (fun, easy, quick but not dirty).

ps. How is the Galcon Fusion community? (Not that I mind realy much, gonna love the SP as well but still :D)

I was just pointing out that I was thinking of buying both games for $14.99, so when 7 were offered for $5 less, I thought it would be good to get them all. Sure I could have bought both games for $4, but 5 more games for $6, it sounded like a good idea...after all, I was thinking of paying $15 for 2 games to begin with...

well, being released for the whole world means that it will not be released in anywhere else unless the publishing company decides to pay more and remove some of that regional restriction.

it is like saying "I am really hungry". literally, it is the same thing as "I am hungry", but saying it that way gives people a little more information about you, unless the listener is an idiot and/or socially inexperienced.

No, being released worldwide, is just that. Worldwide availability. Being released in all but 6 or 7 countries, is not worldwide. That's "available in most regions". There's a HUGE difference.

Like Napoleon: Total War. What they claimed was worldwide on the news page was completely untrue. You don't really understand the true definition of worldwide unless you live somewhere that is affected.

As far as I can tell, that’s everything Yotsuba wants. Yeah, maybe that EA release their games there, too, but they don’t—and as long as they don’t, a game is not available “worldwide”. So, saying “worldwide excl. Japan/Korea” is at least no mis-information.

Until the next time they lie. Sure they finally got it right this time. It's only taken what? several years, several complaints to support, members of Valve staff and the BBB for them to finally do something they should have been doing since the very beginning. So, no "well done, Valve!" from me. All they get is a "about bloody time."

As far as actually being able to purchase the game, well if Valve don't want to make arrangements with EA to secure releases in Japan -- that's their monetary loss, at least GamersGate secured actual worldwide release.

I have been looking at Operation Flashpoint... but from the looks of things, it doesn't seem to be worth the money. Any advice?

Also, including the BNSF DLC in the package is a little misleading as "This DLC is included with the Steam version of RailWorks and is only available for purchase to retail copy owners." Basically it's there to pad the saving stats.

Only because of the region lock. It's really Tomb Raider + Last Remnant Pack. You're missing the $19.99 Last Remnant from the bundle, but you get to pay the same for it as those who get the complete pack. Now doesn't that make you feel special?

Myself, I already have all the Tombraider games ($5 TBA sale, Eidos holiday pack for the other two), and I see no reason to pay more than $5 for the reportedly mediocre LR.

So you can't even ask for advice on dealing with cheaters? Or ask for cheats in single player games?

I bought The Last Remnant for $9.99 and feel it was worth it. I purchased Batman Arkham Asylum for $49.99, and IMSHO if gamers can get it at 1/2 off, they ought to consider doing so unless they hate Batman or that type of game? IMSHO it was one, if not the, best game last year.

Now when will they do a great Superman game!

You have no idea if this was the first time he mentioned that topic. If it wasn't then what reason would he have deserved to have gotten banned a long time ago? Seems to me that you are making quite the bit of assumptions. If you have been banned before hand then no, you shouldn't be throwing stones which is what you are doing.

I keep my eyes on the deals, naturally, cos when there's a game I'm really interested in and it's 75% off, then obviously I'm going to buy it. I don't touch it if it exceeds €5 though, cos I have enough games waiting to be played.

Other than that, Holiday Sale is the time to buy games. Especially when you're from Europe, like me.

Mini Ninja's is actually very enjoyable game. Well worth the sale price. I'd be interested in Gyromancer if it was $5, but based on the demo, I don't think it's worth $7.50 given that tomorrow might yield a better deal I'd rather spend my money on.

Yeah, Mini Ninjas is nice, though way too easy even on hard. I got it for $14.99 in the fall, but in hindsight should not have since I ended up getting the Eidos pack during the holiday sale. Ah well, still worth the price.

how would you feel if you bought a car that you could only drive when the sun was out????think before you post.no one should have to have a permanent connect to play a game they bought.the drm has already failed miserably.i predict it to be removed in the next month or so and never spoken of again by ubisoft.this DRM cant be sitting well with the game developers under unbisofts flag.they know there games are losing money because of the DRM.R.U.S.E for instance...it will probly sale about 40% less copies now because of ubisofts stupidity.

What I don't understand...if my math is correct.
Batman at 60% off should be $20...it makes no sense why it's listed at $24.99.

Conversely the package at 66% off is actually priced correctly.

Does this make sense?

Edit: I mean it's $5 in the grand scheme of things...but just saying.

Thank you Steam! I wanted to try both games anyways.

It said "Save up to 60% off". It never said Batman was 60% off.

I'm skipping this. It was waaay cheaper on GFW marketplace. Until that price is matched ill just wait. I also can't play Just Cause 1 after playing Just Cause 2. The controls were improved too much for me to ever look back.
