Server not acessible through invitations or friends list

Users can connect to my server through the browsor or favorites, but not by clicking on my steam name in their friends list and "joining game", also they are not able to join the server from sent invitations by me.

Forward to local computer: zero (server)
ports forwarded: udp any > any
tcp any > any

This is the only forwarding. Not understanding the problem...

I guess friends is showing your lan ip, cause it shows exactly on what server you are playing.

And because you connect to your own server on the LAN an not on the internet it gives a LAN ip @ friends.

You can't fix it because its not a problem,
He just says on what server you're playing

- I create a server, LANIP: 10.0.0.1 and INTERNETIP: 86.382.939.99
- I route my ports needed for my server on my router and people on the internet start joining the server trough IP: 86.382.939.99
- I join also trough "Lan Servers" that is IP 10.0.0.1
- Friends shows exactly the IP on what server I play, in this case 10.0.0.1
- Others in your friends list OUTSIDE YOUR HOME NETWORK cant join your server trough 10.0.0.1

You can try to configure your router NAT settings to join your server trough your internet ip, but this is more difficult.

Do you know a website or a tutorial that explains how to do it? Cuz I get msges all the time that ppl complain that my Server is not responding. I'll try to find it, but I'm a BAD googler. If you know of a website/tutorial that would explain how, I'd be VERY appreciative. : D

By even mentioning the stickies, the first thing this kid is going to do is go look at the stickies and he will solve his problem. Why you feel that you must respond to everything i say when clearly you dont no how to run a server is beyond me.

I'd leave WuTang alone. WU has been a wonderful help in these forums and has a vast knowledge of such. Flaming him will only get you banned by the moderators. So, I'd change mai tone if I were you Sniper
