Source server wont start up at all

Plz help me i have been trying to get it to work and to work but it just wont start up for no reson

i doudle click srcds.exe and nothing happs
in this thead this guy hade the same problem :S

i just cant understand why Source wont start and HLDS 1 dose start :S
plz help been on this now for 2 weeks :S

OS: Windows 2003 Server standerd
Specks: HP Netserver Lc2000

I'm having the same problem, I use gamecreate to restart and manage my servers and when my srcds goes down it isnt restarting. I tried to starte srcds.exe manually and nothing.... however i have a bat script that @start's the srcds.exe file and that seems to work fine.....

Here is the script i use but I would like to get it working so gamecreate can go back to dealing with my server.


@start c:\GameCreate_CSS\srcds\srcds.exe -console -game cstrike -secure +map surf_leet_xl_beta7z +ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx +port 27015 +maxplayers 15

ok SO i make a srcds.bat file right with that code in it
il try it dont know if it works hope so

anyone know how to get the srcds.exe file to start working again? i know it works when executed by bat scripts :-\ any help would be great!
