make logs in to 1 file

you know in cstrike/logs, a thousand logs show up in just 1 day, how do you make hlds to save logs in to 1 single file or 1 file per day?

I think it's a log per map.
There's no way to change this.

The reason why the logs are like this is because of how HLDS handles the logs. It loads the log into the memory and writes to it. If your log would be huge, it would cause extremely high processor utilization and would result in lag. And if you run a map for more than a day, that's exactly what you get.

that sucks, even amxx offers the option of per day or per map, i guess amxx doesnt write that much stuff

is there a way to specify what gets recorded? such as no recording the kills

mp_logdetail does that, but I've no idea what the values for it are. Mine is on 3 apparently.
