i keep getting this error when i try to start hammer editor

im new to valve modding ive been modding dice games for 4 years and i want to get started and join a team here. anyone help me?

thanks that fixed it but where is a tutorial on putting detail in (eg.. tables stairs cars stuff like that in counter strike and HL2)????

I don't know if you found it already, but in the level editing section is a thread on hammer/mapping resources, http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=561433

That lists six sites, (I personally use and enjoy editlife and interlopers) and you can also use the valve developer wiki Here (http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/SDK_Docs)

ok thanks... one last thing. my map i have put the buildings on theres just 3 on each side of a strait road and there all the same buildings but i can walk through them and fall of the map
