When I try to update Counter-Strike Source, it doesn't update it, it gives me names for other games to use... What do I do??

Also, when a server changes maps, it kicked everyone saying the server is shutting down, so it restarts itself to change the map.. How do I fix this?

And, is there an easy way to install AMX mod for CS:S and CS 1.6? I heard there was an exe installation file or something

I don't know much about the HLDS but i can tell you that AMX is for non sources games only, unless there was a release of AMX for source i havn't seen it yet, but there are tips to install AMX for 1.6 at the AMX main site.

Kicking everyone in the server when you change a map? You probably used the 'map' command. For example 'map de_dust'. To change a map, you'll want to use the 'changelevel' command.

For AMX: AMX is discontinued.

As many of you have already noticed, a few months ago the majority of the old AMX Mod Team members decided to join AMX Mod X. We decided that, as a whole, the Half-Life community would be better off with everyone working together toward a common goal and project.

As a result of this, the AMX Mod forums were locked as read-only last week. In order to accomodate AMX Mod users into the AMX Mod X community, we have opened a new forum specifically to help people migrate. AMX Mod users who wish to move to AMX Mod X may post support/migration quests, plugins which don't work, and interface features which may be missing.

Please join us in welcoming members of the AMX Mod community into our own! As always, flaming, rude behaviour, or other such inappropriate conduct from anyone will not be tolerated.

Get to the downloads section and get the Full Installer
Run it and you should know the rest. =D

Oh and, AMX Mod/AMX Mod X is for the Half-Life engine, and servers hosted on them. For source, use the Mani Admin Plugin. Google it!

Amxmod wasn't intirely discontinued, it was merged with Amxmodx. Read your post, the amxmod team has joined amxmodx & all amxmod plugins have been ported. Amxmodx is only for the Half life 1 engine, for source you will need Manimod and metamod source, you can also go with Mattie's event scripts but for more information on Source mods you need to visit the source (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=44) section of the forums, this is specifically for half life 1 dedicated servers.
