Does anyone know how VALVe made the "Smoke Stack Falling" 'scene' in HL2?
I don't remember what map it was, but it was obviously when you were driving in the canals.

There is a model for it and there are like 10 other models for when it breaks.
So set your full model up, I think you want prop_dynamic_phisics. but I havent been in the modern world for the past 10 days so I'm not sure if thats the right name.
But once you set it up you give it low strangth and tip it over. for tiping it over you could set it on a ramp with motion disabled (untill triggerd)
or you could put a big invisable door at the top to push it over (when triggerd)

I tried this and almost got it... You need the 10 pieces as prop_dynamic (or prop_physics) with the "start asleep, ignore pickup, well anything that has ignore next to it but physical pushing flags." Then when you piled them on top of each other you then have on one side of the top phy_explosion. Disable the visual blast and then tie the phy_explosion with a trigger the player can come in contact with. And there you have your falling tower. I hope
