Error on compile map

I made a very simple map following instructions in a book (HL2 Mods for Dummies-- it's not very good.) Anyway, when I try to compile the map I get the following error:

I don't know what's causing it. I tried restarting Hammer and refreshing the SDK. It did not go away. What else can I do? :confused:

Edit: Ok, I looked here (http://www.interlopers.net/errors/index.php?e=6-1) and it also said to refresh SDK, and to start the map without Hammer. But if it won't compile, how do I do that?

Is this when you try to compile? or when you try to launch the game?
If it is compiling, post the compile log, we'll need to know if the map is compiling ok.

Oddly, another Hammer restart seemed to fix it. Still don't know what went wrong in the first place.
