View Full Version : Displacement elevation

I have a displacement in my map that has 75 put in for the elevation. When I compile the map the elevation of the displacement appears to be 0 ingame, but the displacement retains it's bumps and such.

If it shows up in Hammer as being elevated, then I'm not sure what's going on. The only solution that I can offer is to just raise the displacement manually 75 units. By this I don't mean move the brush, I mean each vertex of the displacement. Set up your displacement view like this (http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/7997/displacementsetupes7.gif) so it'll just be one click. You will have to input the values of 500 and 75 manually, since the slider doesn't go up to those values.
