Okay, I have an infuriating problem with Hammer. I can run the other SDK programs with no problems, but Hammer always fails. I have no problems until opening up an actual map. It doesn't matter if I choose to create a new map or open another, it opens the windows and sits there until I try to do anything. No matter what I do, Hammer closes without any kind of error message. I've tried doing a lot of research but to no avail. It's difficult to find info on a crash bug without an error message.
I'm not sure exactly what to give in terms of systems specs, so if you need more, just ask
I use a Toshiba Satellite (Laptop)
Running Windows XP
Intel Centrino Duo
1.60 GHz Processor
1 GB RAM
I've had other problems surrounding this and other laptops, but not the desktops that I used to have (many sad stories come from their deaths). I have fixed a few problems with other games, but not all like crashes at autosaves and such. But I can live with those, I really would like to use Hammer more. Thanks if you can help.
