Xbox/Xbox 360 version of HL2 does not have a source for peeps to make their mods on so no it is not going to happen....just give it up...

Lol, a fun thought - Insurgency Mod and GMod (no, you wouldn't actually be able to play it - no CS: S or DM but...) on your Xbox.

Unless, in the near future, Valve and Microsoft create a crossover platform for Steam and Live, I don't see it ever happening.

Think of anything you buy for your 360 as 100% Independant of the Steam Community (Because it is). Its propietary and nothing will change that.

Shame, but fully expected.

even if it WAS a cross-platform there are a few wrongs with this:
1) MODS are not valve STEAM games, they are things people upload to the net (building them with the Source SDK) and share with other, steam is pretty much non-existant to this
2) how the hell would you play G-mod on a controller? way too little buttons, same thing with Fortress Forever, TFC, Insurgencey, EVERYTHING!

How do you plan on downloading .exe/.rar game files on your non-web based connection through your 360?

The more I read your posts, the more I think you should have reconsidered your 360 purchase and gone with the PC.
