Rather than the PS3 version of The Orange Box have achievements, like it's PC and Xbox 360 counterparts, it'd be nice to have some Home integration, with the trophy room.
If you don't know what Home is, then it's basically a gaming-orientated Second Life, exclusive to PlayStation Network. It's not out yet, but a closed beta is currently taking place. In Home, there will be a trophy room, where you can unlock trophies for completing various tasks in games. Look for videos on YouTube or GameTrailers.
Anyway, The Orange Box should have it's own trophy cabinet. Basically, when you buy the game, you start off with an open, empty box in your cabinet. Once you complete Half-Life 2, a crowbar pokes out of the box. Once you complete Episode One, a Strider pokes out. Episode Two, a gnome. Portal, a cake. I don't know, I'm sure you could come up with better objects. Team Fortress 2 would be a difficult one. Perhaps after 1,000 total kills are made, an intel briefcase is inside the box. I don't know
So, good/bad idea?
