It's a video making a case that MMOs do not need a subscription fee in order to work. Citing the Guild Wars franchise for an example. And I agree, many a MMO have gone free to play and enjoyed moderate success. I wish WoW would follow suit, but Activision enjoys our money too much.

I tried one at my local Gamestop today. It's actually very nice. The buttons and d-pad is a lot smaller than I thought it'd be but it's still very comfortable!

I only tried Little Deviants and the hill rolling stuff but the loading was pretty bad.

Handheld gaming is alive and well, if a bit fatter and lazier. It just migrated onto smartphones (which, arguably, has done some harm to the general quality of handheld games).

I love my PSP but it really took the homebrew scene to unlock the devices full potential. We'll have to see if the Vita ends up being as good an all around device as the PSP is - movies, music, photos, psp games, ps1 games, emulators etc all in one device.

I'm on the edge. I think there are already some great looking games, the screen seems beautiful and no doubt it will be flooded with RPGs, remakes and interesting new titles like the PSP before it.

However, it's hard to justify spending £230 when you've just bought a 3DS and games for that price only to be horribly disappointed. Though granted the Vita already has more that interests me.

I buy way too many games on my iPhone that i never, ever touch, and i ended up buying an iPad thinking it'd get more gameplay use -- I was wrong.

I think we can all agree that 2011 was a great year for our wonderful industry. Great games were being released left and right, major series were expanded, Nintendo's next big portable system was launched, Sonic the Hedgehog, Epic Games, and Bungie celebrated their 20th Anniversaries, Halo and Jak and Daxter celebrated their 10th, and the Supreme Court ruled in our favor. I specifically singled out the major games of last year, good and bad, and compiled them into this video in order of release date. All 143 of them. I think I'm using the lowest graphic settings and still having a great time flying on Flight Simulator X. I use a joystick on FSX, rather then a mouse on Microsoft Flight lol. They're missions you can do in single player but multiplayer is fantastic with many others! You can host a FREE server up to 99 players and go to more then 10,000+ airports around the world vs Microsoft Flights state of Hawaii LOL which I hear is $16 if you buy it and $8 per airplane.

FSX was the last game in the original Flight Simulator series (Poor Combat Flight Simulator series </3 That one had lots of potential too, but it ended with CFS3). They used to release a new title every 2 years. Then they fired all the developers. And then someone at Microsoft decided "Let's revive the series as Microsoft Flight with a free to play business model!" |=<
