View Full Version : Bright reflections with HDR.

There is nothing wrong when starting the map.
I go outside and see the nice effect of bloom, but the door is just like looking at the sun with a telescope.
How can this one fix this?

Type buildcubemaps into console and then quit the game and start it again with that map.

No that's not the problem since the material doesn't use the map's reflection. It locates a default cubemap used everywhere.

Seems like the cubemap is LDR. Sadly I can't do anything about it since it's a Valve texture.
