Care to be more descriptive? I don't think the game is intended to be black and white, although that might be interesting.

maybe a spray or graphical glitch were they black/pink or purplish by chance?

sounds like a missing texture
right click the game in steam and go to properties > local files > verify integrity
that may fix it

Update your video card drivers and verify your game files that should solve it.

no video card
Then how are you playing at all? Your system has to have some sort of video card to give you a picture.

Not sure what to tell you, as I don't have an Xbox. Try restarting the system.

maybe nto a problem on the video card, but the driver, or some file missing...
or maybe you minimized the game at some point. GeForces tend to have some graphical issues with source engine when minimized. The game plays fine, but reflective surfaces get buggy(black/pink squares)
EDIT: Ahn... 360. Sorry, can't help :/ That's why you buy shooter in the PC :p
it could still be some sort of video rendering issue. Maybe 360's engine uses a rainbow colored texture instead of the black/pink one, dunno. Could be a missing or corrupt file. It CAN happen during disc recording.
Sometimes games install some files in the consoles discs. I dunno, my last videogame was a playstation, so I'm kinda outdated in the console department, but maybe you can possibly delete this files and 'reinstall' the game.
