yeah the game wont work for me and i can figure out who to email to get a refund for it. It just keeps going to a grey screen and then doesnt play and when i goto processes it says its launched but then it disapears.

Does it work with XP 32 Bit or do u guys have Windows 7 or Vista?

I am running W7 64 bit and also had this problem initially. They key to fixing it for me was simply patience. I find if I walk away from my computer and wait a few minutes without touching anything it loads up just fine. However if I get impatient at any point during the loading process and either click or type then the game stalls and refuses to boot up.

No idea if this will work for other operating systems but I suggest giving it a shot, patience is a virtue after all.

Also, the game loads up two process trees, so if it stalls and you want to try again you have to make sure to end them both. I also end steam and start from scratch just to be safe.

For those who are unsure, I highly recommend this game. It will make you think, you will fail and have to try again, and you will learn something about what it means to plan for the unknown. The game is great deal of fun if you are into strategic decision making, battlefield awareness and squad management.

A pain to get running, but easily in my top 5 games of the year.
