It went when I was in the middle of a l4d2 versus game and 2 people on the other team raged. So they were stuck with just two people lol. Is this downtime because Steam now peaks at 5 million users? And then there's Dota 2 and CS:Global Offensive which require more servers...Valve has grown quite a bit in the last 2 years.

This is probably just because Steam lost the connection to the Community. It should come back when the servers get back online (it did in the past).
