360's save space.

On the box it say 10mb, but when I actually save it it's like 20mb. Whats the deal?

What do you mean? It's a simple question. Why is the space required to save, 10mb's higher than it say on the back of the box? I'm talking about all OB games that let you save HL2, Ep1, Ep2, and Portal require 20mb, when the box says 10.

does it really matter how much space it takes expecially 10 mb if your hdd is that full then you should probably delete some stuff you hardly ever use like demos and videos or saved games that you dont own anymore and if you are using a memory card it may just be a sign to upgrade to a hdd

Or maybe it's a huge underground conspiracy between Microsoft, Valve, and all other game companies.

You see, if you think that it only takes 10, but in reality it takes twice as much space, your hard drive will fill up twice as fast as you thought it was. In turn, you either buy a newer, bigger, faster hard drive, or you go to different message boards and post about it. Which gets others to post about it. All this extra web traffic creates ad revenue derived from the website hits, plus you're going to go out and buy that extra hard drive anyway... Wow. These guys are good.
