... until the voice acting started. Ugh. There is no way I could ever put up with the voice of the cursor to want to purchase this =/.

If you want to experience that for yourself, grab the demo either from website for the game or from somewhere such as fileplanet.

Just to be clear, the control scheme is similar to Diablo, right? (hack'n'slash).

Never played Diablo, but I guess it's similar. Although I get the slight feeling that the character was auto attacking the enemies as clicking on them (either left or right click) didn't seem to do much. I think I may play it again with the sound off just to check on that. But the game certainly won't be fully playable like that as there appear to be no subtitle options.

Yes, it is an out and out diablo type game.

I haven't played a whole lot of the game just yet, but so far it's not bad.

The gameplay so far is nice.

There are a few gripes though.
There is no character appearance customization. You play the guy they give you. He can wear different armor but that's it.

No options off the main menu. This is not good for a modern game which is designed to run on a pc. Changing resolution etc. means exiting the game, running the config tool and restarting the game.

Graphics are pretty, though it doesn't perform brilliantly at maximum settings. Even though, with my new graphics card, I can run most games on max. Still, it's just a matter of dropping maybe one or two settings, so it's not so bad.

Sound works well without tooling about with Alchemy, the music is okay, but nothing you'll really remember for long after you're done with the game.
The fairy does have an irritating voice, but I can't see turning off the sound just because of that.
The other voice overs aren't fantastic, but the aren't the worst I've ever heard.

It wouldn't start at first. (gave a PhysX error, easily fixed. I'll make another thread so people can find it.)

If you're are looking for a hack and slash game, besides Diablo, one of the best out there is Titan Quest. Single player hack and slash just sounds so damn boring.

It's pretty ok. Good no brainer but does get awfully boring after a while

That's too bad, I was looking at this and it seemed cool.

Then again I remember liking Dungeon Seige.
