Couple errors need sorting out.
Check out Area52 Map in Progress Part3

1. When I click radio on, it doesnt highlight blue, how do you get it to highlight blue.

2. Light skins dont seem on, theres no other skin, how do i make it look like its on, ive already got a light_spot and light on it.

3. Gettin a werid red strobe light in parts of the map.

4. With water can it just float or does it need to be contained, im tryin to make it like a shore, island, and i get the water noise but theres no water.

5. Also i want to make a decal that says "Map Cerator Nigel Moran" any easy way of doing this, instead of downloading the earth.

2. If you're certain that there's no "on" skin for that model, there may be a separate model that looks like it's on. Otherwise, that particular model might not have an on skin at all.

3. Check and make sure you don't have a model texture on those walls.

4. Water should be contained on all sides except the top by nodraw brushes. If it's not showing up in your map, it might be because there was an error when you compiled. Please post your compile log.

5. You'll probably need to download something to create your decal. GIMP is free, and I hear it's easy to use.

Think the red strobe was with my cubemaps.

Do you know how to get tht glow over radio.

Also my water is there, but doesnt make water nosie.

Nav, ive done the nav, ive tried doing nav_battlestation, nav_battlefield, msrk finle. They come back with unknown command.

Its a survvial map.

Please post your compile log. I'm afraid I can't help you with the glow on your radio, as I haven't started mapping for L4D yet.

All the out of map is on just one section of the map, ive tried replacing the floor.

load pointfile to find the leak(s).
and alot off props are outside youre map in the void and some props are the wrong phycics.

I had a feeling that it was a leak. Once you fix it, your water will show up.

The thing is there not out side, i have 2 floors one for the trees, and one to seal the sky, nothing is outside. ill post a pic soon.

I had a feeling that it was a leak. Once you fix it, your water will show up.

it shows up its not makes noise when im in it, if its ment too. Also tht red strobe thing, think it was the cubemap.

is youre floor thick enough?? select youre models and look if the box surrounding the models does not go through youre floor.
and you have also walls i hope:p
