You guys think it's a good idea, for those who CAN'T USE paypal or think it is not wise to pay with credit card on Steam? My idea is to make a simple card (types of card like 25$ card, 50$, 75$, 100$)
which has a code behind it (Like the Cold Subscription card for the Xbox 360 to play on Xbox Live or Microsoft Points cards), so if you want to buy a game, You simply add to cart, Buy for yourself, enter code, and voilą! You have your game! that's my idea.

(Sorry, my english is bad)

You know you can also use a debit card, right? If you have a checking account that gives you a debit card you can use in place of a credit card in many cases i.e. buying things from Amazon or Ebay, I'm fairly sure it works with Steam as well.

I would prefer Steam Store Credit...like you pay $100 to Steam so you can spend it as you go (a nice present someone could gift you so you can buy what you want)

You can just get a visa gift card or something like that and use that if you really don't want to use your personal card information on steam.

Seems like a good idea to me. But how to obtain such a pre-paid card? Buy it online witch your creditcard :D or buy it at the local store? If so, why not going to the local gameshop instead and get you game directly from the store in stead of Steam (You'll most likely save some money as well )

I think the problem with this is that when you buy with card or buy physical copy, you have proof of purchase. With these pre-paid cards that may be slightly more difficult.

Then Visa has to sell some in maybe every shops like Wal-Mart cause where I live, there's no pre-paid credit card.

There are many games on Steam that are not or no more available on stores, Like Killing Floor, Garry's Mod, Counter-Strike, Quake 1, 2, Quake 3 Arena, Zeno Clash, Doom 1, 2, 3, Ultimate Doom, HeXen or even Max Payne.

Also seems a good ideia.

"Buy it at the local store? If so, why not going to the local gameshop instead and get you game directly from the store instead"

Garry's Mod, for example, is not avaliable for retail selling.
Also, some games are preety rare to find (Half-Life 1, Call of Duty 1, 2 or 4) etc.

I think it is a great idea!

you can buy a prepaid visa at the bank costs 4 dollars and you can upload as much cash as you want and they dont touch a penny till 2 years later then you have to pay to keep it going but if you blow it all before then noproblem
