When I try to run the game I get message that says steam error : application load error 5:0000065434. I am running the game as admin on vista 64 bit. I used google to try to find a solution, but have not had any luck. I was wondering if anyone here would have any clue why I am getting this error.

Check here and do the youtube fix. Or try everything that's what I did and now I can play for a long time without a crash.

Nice! thanks. Yeah I also use the D3D9 old directx Dll to get the game running well for me. I don't know why, but the startup crashes stop when I put that dll in the folder.
If I pull out the DLL, the game will just crash at startup after loading.
added the changes in that topic in my .ini.

Ya it makes the game think it's another GFX card, if you load the original launcher and go to options before you launch the game it will say you are using a different card. Do not worry it won't make a difference for some reason the game likes to know it's that card instead. Yet I bench tested wile running with it and it still was using my cards full potential.(nVidia 8800GTX overclocked to a 9800GTX)
