man.. i saw a lot of hate on this game, especially like on the GameFAQs site, but man i must say, i felt this game was outstanding.

everything was an improvement in all areas from the first 2. not just the graphics, but in terms of gameplay, everything just felt better. i was SO HAPPY they fixed the broken iron sight issue that plagues the first 2 games-- yeah, i know they didnt want the iron sights to have pinpoint accuracy from across the map to emphasize the tactical aspect of the game, but when you are literally 5 feet away from an enemy behind no cover with a perfect bead drawn on them, and you empty a submachine gun magazine at them and do not hit them one time-- that is just absurd and ridiculous. i like the fact that you are actually rewarded for having good aim, but they toned it down to where you couldnt just pick off 20 enemies a minute like in call of duty.

the destructible cover system really made a more realistic impression as well-- blowing up their sandbag cover (along with whoever was behind it) was so satisfying- i really enjoyed throwing a grenade at enemies behind a stone wall, forcing them to run to other cover, lets say a wooden fence- which can be torn apart with tommy gun fire and leaving them with nowhere to hide. likewise, you are forced to be careful where you and your squadmates take cover, as the door swings both ways.

anyway, sorry to go on, i was just overly happy with this game. definitely one of the best games to come out so far this year.

I like HH quite a bit as well. My only complaint is it seems to randomly crash on me. I'm really getting frustrated with it too because it's the only game I have that does this. This game seriously needed a patch IMO.

My only complaint was that your sudden increased accuracy and ability to pick off Germans hiding behind cover made the game too easy and not tactical. Hill50 and EiB were like puzzle games but with guns and Germans. You had to use your teams, fix and maneuver. HH Was just a shooter.

Yeah, i agree with that, HH was a bit too easy, you could just lean out from cover and hit a german in the face in about 2 seconds. Though i suppose the ironsight wasn't amazin in the first two.

I also hope the aiming isn't so accurate in the next one. Earned in Blood got it perfect while the first BiA had exaggerated levels of sway and inaccuracy. HH is just plain easy even on Athentic difficulty.

After playing Red Orchestra BIA doesn't have the same feel anymore. Its become a much more generic shooter, at least in comparison to RO.

Try playing without teh crosshair off, makes the game a heck of a lot more interesting when you cant shoot worth crap from behind cover, like it should be.

I honestly dont know how anyone could play this game with all crosshairs on, would just be so easy.

even with crosshair off it's still easy, you just have to quickly pop cover, aim down the sights and fire before hitting the cover again. It adds a bit of complexity but at least keeps the game from being dead easy.

Turning supression indicators off also makes the game alot funner, not knowing where every enemy is at all times.

jumping isnt the issue with the num chuck i dont think. I think the issue is looking like a fool or being really drunk. If your really drunk the rule is you use the wii mote and num chuck lol

Num chuck? Wii remote? Huh? You drunk posting in the wrong section?

I just finished Road to hill 30, and I was impressed. Why didn't I buy this game before??????????

For now on, BIA will be on my radar. How long is the Single Player on Hell's Highway?

I did not like the shakyness of the sights, but that just made the game more fun, and made headshots incredibly satisfying.

That's what my ♥♥♥♥le was in this game, its way too easy...

The regenerating health thingy made things way to easy for me. I got dogged down in EiB by losing too much health but this is a bit of a leap.

I didn't feel the urge to use the teams to their extent, just stop, pop up and pop em...

I think an ideal solution to this game would be to include in an update the ability to turn off regenerative health, and stop the ability of being to zoom in behind cover (or just stop this ability in the Authentic difficulty). Also an update to fix all the bugs and glitches (like jerky animations and Baker not moving his mouth whilst giving orders behind cover! WTF? {funny M1 Garand reload while behind cover whilst looking away and reloading, check it out!})

Anyway what's with the M1 Garand reload in general, you don't hear the *pang* of the clip ejecting and when you reload before emptying the clip Baker just jams a new clip in - what happened to the previous clip?

Come to think of it there hasn't been ONE UPDATE or patch in its entire lifespan on the shelf. I PLEAD TO YOU GEARBOX (if you read the forums which you probably don't - if you do could you reply to this message?) PLEASE PATCH THIS GAME - I WANT TO LOVE THIS GAME :( so sad

BTW just started playin Road to Hill 30 and am about half-way through the campaign...

Hell's Highway is a great game but I must say that the previous instalments are much better and much more polished...

Gearbox, if you care for the fans of your earliest and most well-known franchise you'd fix this game up... Borderlands was great anyway. :(

*If they can release patches for Borderlands they can release a patch for this game!

I loved to play HH and after finishing it, when the offer came I bought the other previous two titles. Man, what a disapointment. Beside not having the same cover system, it is way too difficult for me. I gave up Road to Hill 30 and removed both of them from my hard drive, and now I assuming them as "money waste", i.e., "payed to never play".

lol rlly I bought the double pack of RtH30 and EiB and I thought they were much better, much more polished, and much more fun than HH. WORK ON IT GEARBOX! D:

They weren't. It made the game harder, but that was the fun part of it.

STOP SWAYING GOD DAMMIT!

The iron sights in EiB were perfect. RotH 30's weren't good.

I liked the style of the first two games. HH left that style and suffered. If they do a new game I hope they go back to the old ways.

I got Hill 30 first and beat it over and over. Shooting got quite easy, didn't need my squad anymore really. Blood came out, it was about the same, but some levels left you with barely any cover so I ended up using my men as cannon fodder to lure fire while I picked germans off. Shooting was still easy. Highway came out, played the demo. Regenerating health, shooting is way easier and I was already pulling over headshots easily in the first two, too easy, never bought it. Kinda want to now though, I think Modern Warefare did something to me...

Ironsight was amazing in the first two. I just wish there was a 'hold breath' function to make it even more realistic.

I love the trilogy. HH is best imho. I just love Baker's story. Red's is not so fun.
