SQ6 studdering. I have a good computer

I'm getting alot of game studdering, especially in the bar on Polysorbate LX.
I have a pretty fast system. Why is it doing this?

System specs;
OS: Windows XP Home (SP3)
CPU: AMD Phenom 9550 @ 2.20GHz, Quad-Core
Memory: 2GB DDR-2
Video: nVidia Geforce 9500GT
Audio: siig Soundwave 7.1 PCI
Monitors;
Primary and Secondary: Acer AL1716 17" @ 60 Hertz each, running @ 800x600 each


Please tell me what I can do. I'm having to run DOSbox in a window. Thanks.
And please don't tell me to "read this really long page on how to tweak DOSbox". Just tell me what to do to fix this.

The speed of your system doesn't matter, let alone the refresh rate of your monitors. I assume you're using the version of DOSBox included with the collection. If you're having problems, you should update it.

Since you have an aversion to reading, I'll make it simple.
1. Download and install the latest version of DOSBox. (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/dosbox/DOSBox0.73-win32-installer.exe?download)
2. Run DOSBox 0.73. Make sure you get a command prompt.
3. Type mount "c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\space quest collection\sq6" (assuming Steam is installed at c:\program files\)
4. Type D:
5. Type SIERRA.EXE -o .\resource.cfg

Alternatively, install the Space Quest Collection DOSBox Update (http://www.sierrahelp.com/Files/Patches/SpaceQuest/SQCollectionDBUpdate.exe) which will automatically install the latest DOSBox and apply patches to the game which will allow you to bypass the crappy Sierra launcher.
