Hi,

I've got a huge issue with Yosumin. I'm commuting on a daily basis and bought the game to play it while commuting (via train). Unfortunately, the train doesn't provide any sort of Internet (and a mobile connection is just too expensive). Therefore, I have to rely on Steam's offline mode, which - until now - never posed a problem.
But as soon as I run Yosumin in offline mode, it crashes (every time) after about 1 or 2 minutes. It shows an error window, which has the same icon as Yosumin, so I guess it's not a Windows error box but the Yosumin window is blocking this window from appearing. All I can do is alt-tab to it and hit enter. The title of this window is "Fatal Error".

In online mode however, the game works perfectly and doesn't crash.

Please help me with this issue :-)

I just tested it and after about 2 minutes in offline mode it crashes saying: "You need to logged in to Steam".
Seems like a general issue with Steam/Yosumin. I'd suggest writing a support ticket. If you wont, I will ;)

Just to let you (and anyone else reading this thread in the hopes of being able to play yosumin regardless of having internet without downloading an illegal copy for their DS because they feel entitled to offline play) know, that doesn't work.

Copying the demo's .exe file and running it gives a nice "activation manager init failed" error, citing "the specified module could not be found". This is with the installer obtained from the casual games @ squenix website.

I have no idea what you meant with "0.dat, sys.dat & mummyiloveyou.dat" because the steam edition of yosumin only shows me 0.dat and sys.dat files, so perhaps you want to elaborate on that a bit if you think it's crucial.
