In my mind, these are the top two jewels in Interplay's collection.
If any developers are listening, get moving on delivering them!

No need to hope and wait. You can already buy them at Good Old Games.

And you get Descent 1 AND 2 for one low price!

Freespace series.. hands down.. one of the best Space games of all time.
Epic battles with Capital ships, mounted with massive beam laser and flak cannons, duking it out.. :D

I would like to see Descent 3 with better OpenGL drivers. And a native OS X port.

Imagine a Freespace game with today's technology. I'm not talking graphics, I'm talking hundreds of ships everywhere, capital ships as far as the eye can see, advanced tactics, better voiceovers.... ugh. FS3 could easily be the best game ever made.

I never could get into Freespace (even though I bought both games), but I absolutely loved the Descent series.

Since GOG is having some issues at the moment - either closing down or performing the most stupid marketing stunt of all time - I wouldn't mind having Descent 1, 2 and 3 including all the expansion packs on Steam right now.

Descent is alive and well on KALI(D1 and 2) and for Descent 3 via a program called VORTEX.
