I need a good motherboard for gaming and overclocking that will not fail like my asus p5e did, its second time i have to rma, but they might not have new ones in stock so they will have to try to fix it, which can take a long time with asus. Im thinking just to buy a new board, but i dont want to spend lots of money somthing in $130 range shipped. to be used with the fallowing specs

q6600(needs to run at 3ghz)
8800GT KO
4 gigs of crucial ballstix 6400 oc to 1066 speeds
500 seagate stata drive

Seconded. Running it now, though I have not started OC'ing my Q9550 yet. Great board, very stable, lots of features at a great price.

I always liked the X48 chipset for overclocking:

Why dont you just wait for your P5E to get back? Its a good mobo.

Its a second P5E that took a crap on me, and asus dosnt have any new ones to replace for me, they need it to rapair it and told me it might take upt to a month with shipping and processing, i really dont want to wait that long
