How many times can I install Windows 7 on a different machine?
I love it. I upgraded from Vista Business, not fresh copy.

Pretty sure you can install it as many times you paid for. I know we pay per seat + extras just in case which is around 2000 licenses. so we can install using the same key 2000 times. You will need to check with the person who manages the MSDN account to figure out how many licenses you got.

If I'm not mistaken the EULA states that you can only install it once per key.

For home use yet but with licensing from Microsoft you get given one key for your company/school and you have to use it for all installs.
It's all covered here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/dd197314.aspx and here http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/

U can install a single legal copy of Windows on as many machines as you want, but the machine u click ACTIVATE on is the one that product key is pinned to. Once you activate it on one machine, the other installs will still run for the trial period before activation takes place. Should u activate it on one machine, then u really want that on another machine, that can be done legally but u have to call Microsoft to get a different code. Just tell them the other machine died and this is your new machine. But after this 2nd activation takes place on a new machine (but u really have it on your 1st machine) the OS must be removed from the first machine, or it will do a Windows Update, say that it's not genuine and then take u to the login screen, where u will not be able to have access any longer (due to you activating that OS on a 2nd machine)
But for the trial period where you can play around with Windows before it finally asks you to activate (I forget the trial period, 15 days I think), after this you must remove the OS or buy a 2nd legit copy and change the product key on the system that has the trial.

The thing your forgetting there is there is no activation on VLK versions of windows especially via MSDN.

hey I'm not Microsoft so I'm not gonna say what you can and can't do. But if u plan on doing some illegit with it, don't speak of it. But yeah it depends who is the MSDN account holder for that particular copy of windows. As there will be a limited number of licenses. You can always buy more down the road too.
