Steam Download Manager.

In the download section, I'd like the oppotunity to select the times in which I allow something to download.

In Australia, we have On/Off peak times for our internet. I like to download things in the off-peak, but hate having to wake up at 4AM to start the down load.

So I'd like to select the times in which I allow Steam to download stuff.

Or is this feature already there and i'm just blind?

No blindness required, steam should have a download manager.

I think he means, downloading anything on the manager, not just steam games.

Hell, yes! This is one feature that's sorely needed in Steam. Just add a tab to the preferences with a couple of radio buttons labelled "Download whenever there is data available to download" and "Only download between these times of the day" and let us nominate the start and end times of the day (04:00 and 09:00 in my case).

+1 for this idea, though it would no longer affect me - my parents moved from 'yes' Advantage to Fusion several months ago.

This would require Steam knowing your ISP, ISP's usage/quota webpage, username and password.

I think by "whenever there is data available to download", Roxor means "whenever Steam has stuff for you to download"
