Hi again everyone,
So I've seen the comments about the first patch causing some problems with some players' experience... or, even their ability to RUN the game. Sorry it took my a day or two to reply - just been working behind the scenes.
The team at Wargaming looked into the issue, and they have supplied the following "Hot Fix" that may help you. Please give the following a try and let us know if it does not work you:
This hotfix is mainly intended for those users whose game was running well before the patch and crashed after the update.
Go to OOW Steam folder (normally this path: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\order of war\)
Back up file oow_final_dx10.exe to file oow_final_dx10.exe.bak
Rename oow_final_dx9.exe into oow_final_dx10.exe
Also try this solution if the game initially did not load or crashed.
Please let us know if this helped or not. Your feedback will be highly appreciated. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.
You may also visit the official OOW forums on Wargaming.net's site to report your issue. Please follow the directions provided at the following thread.

Please report the issue with the following files attached:
- DxDiag.txt (Windows Start button -> Run -> dxdiag -> Save all information)
- Log files (SteamFolder\SteamApps\common\order of war\oow_final_dx9.log and oow_final_dx10.log; bak files are logs from the previous launch)
