First of all i play mainly first person shooter games like Dod, CS, Tf2 and will be trying call of duty 4 when i get paid but i am stuck. ok i have been using the microsoft strategic commander controller for about 10 years now. I have gone through about 4 of them and my last one died this week. after searching for them on ebay and the like i have come to a conclusion that since they are not making that controller any more that i need to change to a different style of play (keyboard, diff controller, etc.). Yes i could buy one or two off of ebay but that will only last about 2 years or so. I have tried the belkin nostro but i did not like it. I have never really liked the keyboard either. I thought about using my 360 controller but some ppl say it is hard to aim but i guess i will have to try for myself. guess what I'm asking for is some tips on how to get better at playing FPS games on a keyboard. I have the logitech g15 (cause i play WoW also) so i think the macros buttons might help with this. comments or suggestions will be appreciated thx.

Try ur 360 controller.
FPS games are best played with a mouse + keyboard.

It can be a little weird at first, but the mouse is a huge advantage in gaming. You can turn around faster, and aim with more stability.
Once you get good with the mouse and keyboard, there should be no cases where the controls are holding you back.

Correct. The mouse is great in gaming.

Keyboard + mouse are the best for FPS, MM0's games, if you want to play with a game-pad, find some racing games, sport games, etc.
I recommend you to buy a logitech rumblepad 2, amazing game-pad.

I'm about to get an Xbox 360. I've had one before but had to sell it for some cash. But COD:MW2 is coming and I want to have one for that. Any chance I can hookup a USB Keyboard & Mouse to the 360?
