Subject: [hlds] CS lag fix

We have identified the cause of the lag and have created a fix for it.
Updated game dlls will be released via Steam next week.

In the meantime we have a hotfix available, the updated game dlls can be
downloaded from:
http://www.steampowered.com/drop/06232004_cstrike_gamedlls.zip

Unzip this file into the cstrike/dlls directory.

The md5 sums of the updated game dlls are:
10f2dcdbacc50e9fe198fa05b85e5ca8 mp.dll
1c4d3d4d073be72829e8d81dce59a4c7 cs_amd64.so
6a57b0d1817cfc659059694e6e281d33 cs_i386.so

After instaling this Fix, a Error Message appears :

Disconectet from the Server Reason :
bad file server consistency is enforcing file scope_arc_sw.tga.

Whats this ? Never heard of this file in CS....

my server crash with this binary on de_aztec
on de_dust all ok

problem is worst for me with this hotfix...

Seems This Fix Isnt As Great As They wanted it to be eh...

before installing the hotfix you need to update your server via the updatetool because the server needs the latest version of scope_arc_sw.tga (and some other files)

If you got screwed like I did, you can do update after....it works.

Thank you very much ! Thats it :D The Update Tool wasn´t working, now everything is ok .

what is this "updatetool" and where can i find it ? i have only access to the webinterface and ftp of my cs(linux) server. Is it enouogh when i reinstall the server through the webinterface ?

AccountSubscriptionsBillingInfoRecord field left in stripped in CSubscriberAccountRecord

i get this error when i try to update. any idea? anyone?

Delete your

~/.steam/ClientRegistry.blob

and start update again.
