Ive got the game on disc and the movies in vista dont work , has anyone tried playing on vista and if so did the movies work.

They do not play in Vista and Win 7, I believe it has something to do with the way overlays were changed on them and I do not think there is a way to fix it.

This game keeps crashing it dosen't work on vista Steam should put (not compatible with Windows Vista) for this game what a waist of $10.00

The game works fine in both Vista and Windows 7 aside from the movie clips not playing, maybe you have outdated video card drivers or a card that is not supported?

Seconded, I'm running Win7 RC and it works perfectly, except that I can only hear the sound during movies, while the screen remains black.

When i first purchased the Godfather on Steam back in 2009 i couldn't get it to work then just yesterday i went on another forum and some one there found a fix. I tried it and it worked, It appears that the Godfather works on Windows Vista and Windows 7 only when you rename the movies folder in the game directory to "_movies"
